HOW IT WORKS

Know where you are going.Practise what will get you there.See how you are growing.

The same six steps carry a promotion, a new skill or a whole season of life, and each review makes the next round better.

CAREER

Make your next career step clear.

Write down what the next level asks for, in your own words or your employer’s. See the gaps in outcomes, responsibilities and skills, and build evidence of your readiness as you work.

  • See what the next level asks for

Outcomes, responsibilities and skills for every rung, so the step up is written down instead of guessed at.

  • Find the gaps early

Assess yourself against the level, see which skills are one step short, and plan practice for them.

  • Build evidence as you go

File what you can show against the outcome it proves: a result, a reflection, feedback from someone who was there.

A ladder records your reading of the next level and what you can demonstrate. It does not decide a promotion.

RELATIONSHIPS

Get better with people, at work and at home.

Relationships is where you grow the soft and social skills behind everything else. Plan the moments that matter around the skills you are working on, rehearse them, then reflect on how they went.

  • Prepare for moments that matter

Presentations, difficult conversations, requests and important meetings get a purpose, both sides’ needs, the right channel and a plan you can rehearse.

  • Practise a skill in every conversation

Choose one or two skills to work on, such as explaining your purpose clearly, and the plan carries a cue for each.

  • Reflect, then follow through

Say how each skill went and keep the commitments you made, so your social skills grow like any other.

PRACTICE

Turn learning into capability through practice.

Give every skill a way to practise. Its task library runs inside your real projects and routines, focus mode walks you through each run, and every run is logged as evidence of what you can now do.

  • A task library for every skill

Procedures, routines and tasks that practise the skill, used in the projects and habits where the work already happens.

  • One step at a time

Focus mode holds the time, keeps one step on screen and asks what done looks like before you tick.

  • Review what you can demonstrate

Runs and logs become evidence, and a regular rating review asks what you can show now, not how you feel.

SCHEDULE AND HABITS

Make progress that survives busy weeks.

Build routines around the time you really have. Every habit gets a smaller version for hard days, every area gets its hours, and the week shows what you planned next to what you did.

  • Hours that belong somewhere

Give each area its hours and theme your slots, deep work in the morning and people at midday, so the week has a shape before it starts.

  • A smaller version for hard days

Every habit has a minimum that still counts, so a bad week bends your routine instead of breaking it.

  • Planned next to logged

See what you meant to do beside what you did, and change the plan rather than the story.

PLANNING

Start with a
ready-made plan.

Bring the planning method you like as a situkit, from OKRs to quarterly planning or a 12-week year. It sets up measurable objectives, the horizons and the review rhythm, and you choose the outcomes, the timing and how much you can take on.

  • A method, ready to run

The structure, the cadence and the reviews arrive with the situkit, so your first hour goes on your goals rather than the scaffolding.

  • Measurable objectives

A start, a target and a date for every objective, so in October you already know whether March is on.

  • Every horizon in one place

The year’s objectives, the quarter’s phases and this week’s sessions stay connected, so a change at one level shows at the others.

DIRECTION

Decide what matters in this season.

A chapter is the season you are in: a theme for each of your five areas, ranked, with a vision for each. When your circumstances change, a chapter review lets you re-rank, close the gaps or begin the next one.

  • Ranked, not balanced

Put the five areas in order, so when two of them want the same evening the answer is already decided.

  • A vision for each area

A sentence for where each area is heading, so every objective has somewhere to point.

  • Reviews when life changes

Every few months, re-rank the areas, close the gaps and decide whether to carry on or begin a new chapter.

AN AI CHIEF OF STAFF

Get help, and keep the decisions.

Hand over suitable research and drafting with the context behind your goals, then review the result before you use it. Every action is proposed and waits for you.

  • Hand off research and first drafts

Give it a task with the context behind your goals, and it comes back as a draft, never as a finished change.

  • It works from your context

Objectives, the week and the principles you keep are already here, so a suggestion sounds like something you would do.

  • You accept, or nothing happens

Every action is proposed and waits, and the activity log shows what it read and what it did.

The planning assistant is part of Pro. Every new account gets Pro for its first 14 days.

PROGRESS

See how you are growing.

Reviews turn what you did into evidence: what you can now show, which skills moved and which objectives are on pace. It is your own record, kept as you go, not a score anyone gives you.

  • Weekly review

    Fridays, about 45 minutes

  • Objective reviews

    Each objective, every month

  • Skill rating review

    Every quarter

  • Chapter review

    Each season of life

FOR EXPERTS AND COACHES

Help others make progress with what you know.

Turn your expertise into guidance people can put into practice. Capture your approach in reusable situkits, share or sell them, and give clients structured work between coaching sessions.

  • Capture an approach you have used

Save a project, habit or event you ran as a situkit, with its steps, instructions, routines and measures.

  • Share or sell it, with credit

Set a price or share it free. Your name travels with every copy, and adapted copies say where they came from.

  • Structure between sessions

Clients follow your situkit in their own SITUKIT, so the work between coaching sessions has a shape.

WHY NOTHING ELSE FITS

Most tools stop at the plan.

Planners hold the plan, courses hold the learning and calendars hold the time. None of them ask whether it worked, so nothing gets better.

How it usually goes

Nine tools, one slice each

  • A goal written down in January
  • A course finished, and nothing practised
  • A promotion you hope you are ready for
  • A routine that breaks in the first busy week
  • Reviews you never get round to
  • An assistant that has to guess

How it goes in SITUKIT

  • Evidence of what the next level asks for
  • A smaller version for the hard days
  • Reviews that change the plan
  • An assistant that already knows the context

PRIVACY

Your life is not the product.

What you write about yourself and the people in your life stays yours. In practice, that means three things.

  • Nobody here can open your account

Not even to help you. That is the point of how signing in works.

  • Notes about people stay closed

They are encrypted at rest, and the assistant cannot read them unless you open that door yourself.

  • Nothing you write trains a model

Not ours, not the model provider’s. Your words answer the question you asked and are not kept afterwards.

THE WAITLIST

What actually happens if you put your email in

  1. You get a number

A place in the queue when you join, and we open in batches so the first week is not a fire. Your number only moves one way — down, as we let people in.

  2. One email, when it is your turn

Not before. No countdown, no “only 3 days left”, no newsletter you did not ask for. If we go quiet, it is because there is nothing to say yet.

  3. You start from your chapter

When you get in, you name one theme for each of your five areas and put them in order. That is the whole set-up, and the first thing you see is your own life.

BEFORE YOU ASK

The questions we keep getting

Do I have to build it myself?
No. The structure is already there: areas, objectives, projects, habits, people and your week. Ready-made situkits give you a starting plan, from OKRs to a 12-week year. You fill it in, and change the shape later if you want to.
Can I try it now?
The situkits are already public at marketplace.situkit.com. Read one and you will know whether the rest is for you.
I already use Notion, Obsidian or a task app.
Keep whatever is working. The problem is usually not the app — it is that your objective, your week and the person it is for live in three different ones, and only you are holding them together.
What does it cost?
Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro, at no cost. When they end, you choose the plan that fits, and nothing you made in those 14 days is deleted.
Will you read my notes?
No. Notes about people are encrypted at rest and nobody at SITUKIT can open your account — not even to help you. That is the point of the sign-in design.
When exactly?
We are not going to give you a date we might miss. When there is a working thing to let people into, you will get the email — and we would rather open slowly than have the first week go badly.
Will it decide whether I am ready for promotion?
No. A ladder is your reading of the next level, in your words or your employer’s. It shows what you can demonstrate; the decision still sits with the people you work for.
What if I change my mind?
One link at the bottom of the only email you will get. We delete the address, not archive it.
Can I run my coaching practice in it?
You can turn your method into situkits that clients follow between sessions, and share or sell them with your name on every copy. Booking sessions and managing clients happen elsewhere for now.

Accelerate your progress. Focus on what matters.

One email when it is your turn, then 14 days of Pro at no cost.
